Clancye is thrilled to present her first recording with her new duo Alister.
Alister were brought together in the final days of 2018 which was a huge year of transition, momentum and development for two Melbourne vocalist and songwriters, Clancye Milne and Natalie Carolan. The pair focus on lyric and melody above all else, their voices intertwining effortlessly, with an emotive power that draws you into the very heart of their experiences.
Their first project, 1700, details the series of unfortunate events the pair encountered on their journey to Woodford, which ended up being as fulfilling, positive and enriching as the festival itself; meeting countless beautiful souls who recharged the pairs faith in the true selfless nature and sheer kindness of strangers. The stories told by various locals along the way, lessons learnt and some less than fortunate encounters inspired this brand new creation of music which is set to debut in 2019.
